The Parenting After Loss initiative spans eight weeks and serves as a support network for adult guardians, in addition to the children, after the loss of a family member. The tutoring and support provided within this program are designed specifically around the emotional and physical repercussions of death within a family. Kenny Slaught believes that through participation in the program, families gain the necessary ability to communicate more effectively between each other and becoming stronger as a unit after experiencing tragedy.
